The Transplant Support Network was founded by the late Jo Hatton and her husband, Phil. Jo was one of Britain’s first heart and lung transplant patients and had 13 active and truly memorable years after her operation. She displayed such strength and determination to make the most of every day, enjoying pursuits such as hill climbing, she had previously only dreamt of. With the same determination and positive mindset, Jo drew a dozen friends together to form TSN. Helping and supporting transplant patients, their families and carers became her life’s work and continues today as a network throughout Britain, supporting people touched by transplantation.
